Hello wide-eyed art fans!

The month of May brings news of magazine covers, upcoming shows, and blogs. Personally, I live to hear more of that tarty Paula Abdul, or see what appendage is found in what food, but I did want to send out a few breaking news stories of my own.

Notable events in the last couple months? Several pieces were selected for the group show "Everything but the Kitschen Sync" at La Luz de Jesus Gallery in L.A. I also had a piece in Drawing National II at Montgomery College which opened in February.

Lastly, a big thanks to everyone who made it out to Artomatic. It was a great success for everyone and important for the D.C. art scene.

Until the next news cycle...

Monkeys Have Nipples: Compassion makes cover of Direct Art Magazine

Direct Art Magazine cover

The Spring/Summer issue of Direct Art Magazine is out. In addition to the cover, a 6-page interview is inside where I reveal my darkest secrets (well no, not ALL of them) and many images. It's available at most big book stores. You can also check it out on my website here.

Yet Another Blog!

Because there just aren't enough blogs already, I've replaced the "news" section with a blog of my own. Check in to find the latest news, events, and tasty bites of art.
