September 2005

Hey everybody,

An already crazy summer is ending unbelievably crazier. Sometimes I'm asked where I get the ideas for my work. The simple answer is I just look around.

In this solo exhibit my wide-eyed progeny from The Virtues and Deadly Sins series have been sent out into this weird world of Iraq, Paris Hilton, and tea parties. Contemporary events and pop culture icons, mixed liberally with childhood angst, added up to Jumping Through Hoops.

The artist's reception is Friday. Stop by and say hello.
