“Nature vs Nurture” is now online. See it here. will be at Baltimore’s Gallery Blue Door thru December. Hours are Wednesday from 10-2, Friday and Saturday from 2-6. The gallery is located at 833 Park Avenue in the Mt. Vernon Arts District. 

Nature vs Nurture reflects my lifelong appreciation of the natural world. Growing up in Michigan I spent much of my time outdoors. In addition to hunting and fishing, much of the visual art I encountered was filled with wildlife, rugged landscapes, and quiet forests. My earliest paintings were landscapes, and while narrative and figurative work have since taken the lead in my practice, elements of nature are often present.
