The I-Spot

I finally got my work up on the I Spot and am one of the featured artist this week. It’s an illustration site featuring hundreds if not thousands of artists. I’m using it to highlight my children’s work, but will probably put up some of the work I’m doing for the September show once thats opens.

What Week?

No real news. This week flew by. Busy getting work together for “Seven” show – as well as working on pieces for the show in September. Here is one piece that will be in the “Seven” show. The opening is this Thursday, June 30, 2005, 7:30 – 10:00pm at the Warehouse. There are 67 artists from the DC area – quite a lineup. A full list is here.

“Seven” WPA\Corcoran Exhibition

I will have work in this exhibit…

* June 30 – September 9, 2005 – WPA/Corcoran Presents SEVEN: Seven Separate Shows Under One Roof
Curated by F. Lennox Campello, assisted by Sandra Fernandez and Adrian Schneck. Opening June 30, 2005, “SEVEN,” will be a provocative exhibition of WPA/C artists who embody the spectacular creative diversity of the DC region. It will be hosted at seven different exhibition spaces in and around the Warehouse Gallery and Theatre.
“With this multi-space exhibition I intend to present my selections from among the WPA|C membership in a form that delivers seven separate exhibitions and performances,” says Campello. “I bring my familiarity with many DC area artists as well as a desire to discover many new ones from among the WPA/C’s slide registry, which I will review twice. In the end, I intend for “Seven” to leave an interesting and provocative footprint, as well as a fresh, bold statement, for the WPA|C member artists featured in the show.” – F. Lennox Campello.
