Rita in “Engendered Species” Exhibit, Gatov Gallery, Long Beach CA

The curators have put together an excellent website with a catalogue of the artists. Nice to see Rita’s pretty face splashed throughout the site.

“Engendered Species: An international exhibition that questions the traditionally fixed binary classification of gender, exploring how we “do” or “undo” both the gendered body and gender as a performance, as well as examining gender as endangered. ”
